This privacy policy (this “Privacy Policy”) tells you about the information that Beth Anne’s Studio & Design Company and its successors in interest (the “Company,” “we” or “our”) collects in connection with the operation of the website and services, accessible via https://bastudiodesign.com/ (the “Site”), including how the information is used and how you (“you” or “user”) can access and correct certain information that we may collect. 

Please note that this Privacy Policy applies only to information collected from you. Information provided to other third parties through the Site is subject to those third parties’ respective privacy policies. The Company is not responsible for the privacy or security practices of any of the third parties, users, or other websites on the Internet, even those linked to or from the Site. You should read the privacy policies and terms of use of all parties you transmit information to. For the purposes of European law, third parties and other users are independent controllers of data, and therefore they are solely responsible for complying with all applicable laws, regulations, and their own policies relating to personal information.

By using the Site, you agree to this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to this Privacy Policy, you may not use the Site. The Company reserves the right, in our discretion, to change, modify, add or remove portions of this Privacy Policy from time to time, upon providing you with prior notice. We suggest you regularly check this Privacy Policy for any updates. Notice will be provided by sending you an email at the address we have on file for you with your account. For material changes to this Privacy Policy that affect the collection or use of personal information from users, we will notify and obtain their prior verifiable consent. Your continued use of the Site after notification of changes constitutes your consent to any updated Privacy Policy. 

INFORMATION COLLECTED AND HOW WE USE IT

You always remain in control of the information you provide to the Company. We may collect the following types of personally identifiable information about users: full name and email address and any other information you provide in any communications to us (collectively “Contact Information”). We may collect, maintain and use Contact Information you have voluntarily submitted for the purpose of creating and maintaining your ability to access the Site, deliver you any products or services, and to contact you to respond to your comments, questions, or requests for information. Client work or purchases of our patterns are governed by separate agreements in addition to this Privacy Policy. Entering any Contact Information is optional and you are responsible for any information you provide to the Company. 

We use Squarespace, Inc for our site hosting services. Like most web-based services, we may automatically receive non-identifying information through your use of the Site, such as the pages you access, the Site features you use. This information is used to improve the Site and to troubleshoot issues and is not connected in any way to any personally identifiable information you may provide to us.

DATA SHARING AND TRANSFER

The Company will not share your Contact Information.  The Company does not provide, sell or lend any data collected directly by the Company to any third party in a manner that allows you to be identifiable as the subject of such data.

The Company reserves the right to disclose your personal data, including Contact Information, based on the good faith belief that such action is necessary or appropriate to: 

  1. Protect and defend the rights or property of the Company;

  2. To fulfill our obligations and provide you access to the Site; or

  3. To perform any contractual requirements in our Terms of Use;

We attempt to keep your files complete, up-to-date, and accurate. You may request that we delete any information at any time at the contact information provided within this Privacy Policy.

RETENTION

The Company keeps your provided data in our records until you indicate you would like it removed. We will only retain information after you have indicated you no longer wish us to use the information to the extent necessary to comply with legal obligations. We do not control how long third-party service providers hold your information.

CHILDREN’S PRIVACY

The Company is strongly committed to protecting the safety and privacy of children who use the Site. We do not knowingly collect personal information online from children under 18.

In an attempt to provide increased value to our users, this Site may contain links, affiliate links,  tools, or plug-ins that are owned and operated by third-parties other than the Company (the “External Tools”) such as Squarespace, amazon affiliate links, links to blogs and features of third-parties, etc. others. However, no such third-party is owned, controlled, or influenced by the the Company, the Company has no control over these External Tools, all of which have separate privacy and data collection practices independent of the Company. The Company has no responsibility or liability for these independent policies or actions and is not responsible for the privacy practices or the content of External Tools. External Tools do not imply that the Company sponsors, endorses, is affiliated with or associated with, or has been legally authorized to use any trademark, trade name, service mark, design, logo, symbol or other copyrighted materials displayed on or accessible through such External Tools. Company is not liable or responsible for any data breaches affecting any External Tools.

CHOICE AND OPT-OUT PREFERENCES

The Company does not collect your Contact Information or any personally identifiable information unless you choose to provide it. If, at any time, you prefer not to receive further communications from the Company, you will have the ability to unsubscribe from such communications by means of a link or to write to us to opt out. You also will have the ability to unsubscribe from such communications by contacting us at the address below. If you want the Company to delete your information from our records, please contact us at the information below.

TRANSFERS

The Company does not intentionally transfer your Contact or Personal Information. If you visit the Site from outside the United States please be aware that you are sending information to the United States and the other locations where External Tools may have servers. Again, we do not govern or are liable for the policies of our External Tools. Information may be transferred out of and into the United States depending on our storage methods and the policies and practices of our External Tools. Users should review the privacy policies of all External Tools when inputting information through the Site.
